The State appealed the district court’s grant of post-conviction relief for John Wurdemann. Wurdemann was convicted on seven felony counts related to the June 2000 attack of Linda LeBrane. In its order, the district court ruled that Wurdemann’s Sixth Amendment right to counsel was violated because trial counsel failed to properly challenge the admission of eyewitness identifications.
